The OMNIKEY® 5321CL SAM USB Readers represents the ideal combination of contact and contactless technology in a single device. These dual interface PC-linked readers read/write to virtually any contact smart card or 13.56 MHz contactless smart card. Featuring read/write support for devices with ISO 14443 A/B chip-specific elements, the USB readers are suitable for use with all existing and future ISO 14443-4 chips and operating systems.

Providing users with the convenience, speed and security of contactless technology, OMNIKEY® 5321 Readers are ideal for government applications that require secure access to personal information, including e-passports, e-national IDs and e-documents.

• Support advanced EMD suppression to read all ICAO compliant e-passports and e-IDs

• Support ISO standards for contactless cards (ISO 14443-4 A and B), contact cards (ISO 7816) and Microsoft® WHQL industry standards for drivers

• Support contactless smart cards with up to 848 Kbps in the fastest ISO 14443 transmission mode
